Luca obtained his Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Bologna, with a thesis on emotion recognition for human-centered conversational agents. He then joined the Language Technologies Lab as a research fellow and worked on the ALMA-GAIE project. The project classifies the research and educational products of the University of Bologna by their contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. He also contributed to a chatbot for asylum-seeking migrants and to SubjectivITA, an Italian corpus for subjectivity detection.
